Blue2048 is a puzzle game app developed by BlueLogic Software (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

We do not directly collect, store, or transmit any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. Blue2048 does not require a separate account or login.

2. Google Play Games Services

The App integrates with Google Play Games Services for leaderboards and achievements. When you sign in with your Google Play Games account, Google may collect:

  • Your Google Play Games player profile (display name and player ID)
  • Game scores submitted to leaderboards
  • Achievement unlock data

This data is managed by Google and is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your Google account credentials. You can manage your Play Games data through your Google account settings.

3. Locally Stored Data

The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

  • Game progress and high scores
  • App settings and preferences (theme, grid size, haptic feedback)
  • Purchase status (ads removed)

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. It is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear app data.

4. Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services that may collect information:

Google AdMob (Free version only)

  • We display banner advertisements through Google AdMob.
  • AdMob may collect device identifiers (Advertising ID), IP address, general location data, and app usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.

  • You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings under “Ads” in your Android settings.
  • Users who purchase ad removal do not see any ads, and AdMob is not active for them.

Google Play Billing

  • If you purchase ad removal, the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play.
  • We do not receive or store your payment information (credit card number, billing address, etc.).

This app uses Google AdMob to serve advertisements. For users located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we display a consent dialog compliant with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) v2.2 before any personalized advertising is loaded.

What you consent to: Processing of personal data (including device identifiers, approximate or precise location, and interaction data) by Google and its advertising partners for the purposes of personalized advertising, ad measurement, and audience insights. Google works with more than 200 certified advertising partners; the current list is maintained at https://support.google.com/admob/answer/9012903 and https://privacy.google.com/businesses/adsservices/.

Where your choices are stored: Your consent selections are stored on your device using the IAB-standard IABTCF_* keys in the app’s local storage. These selections remain valid for up to 390 days and are overwritten whenever you make new privacy choices in this app.

How to change or withdraw your consent: Open the app, tap Settings → Preferences → Privacy Settings. This opens the same consent dialog you saw on first launch, where you can update or fully withdraw your choices at any time.

If you decline personalized advertising, ads may still be shown but will be contextual (non-personalized) and not based on your profile.

5. Children’s Privacy

Blue2048 is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we do not collect any personal data from any user, this requirement is inherently met.

6. Permissions

Blue2048 requires internet access only for:

  • Displaying advertisements (free version)
  • Processing in-app purchases

No other device permissions are required. We do not access your camera, contacts, location, microphone, or files.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
